Interesting. It is true not all wood lathes are created equal. So what do you think about Mclean 3 axis production lathe [http://www.thedse.com/3-Axis-Production-Lathe?keyword=wood%20lathe] which does not require CNC but gives near enough good results if used by a proficient user.
